The glint of an eye The small impression of a cheek spreads As a warmth fills the room Lips instantly Interlocked as their bodies tumbled to the floor In a sea of limbs and passionate embraces A distant dream made real Crystallized in violet A distant dream made real Crystallized in violet Cinematic flourish emphatically nourished Coiled around each Their tears form a stream of the overwhelming Echoes of an ancient knowing Glowing in the sowing of something new It's fleeting This feeling Life trudges on

about

March 2022 has been one of the weirdest most torrential, transitional months in recent memory. A lot of bad fucked up shit happened this month. I was in a very liminal space all month as I was waiting to move into a new place but had to move out of the old place and then a few other major life changes shook shit the fuck up and I was disassociating basically every day. It was hard to find myself during these days so I turned to music. Tried to play in some capacity every day and have been lucky to be around Alex Santilli and Nick McMillan this month who I have to personally thank for being there for me and giving me a place to stay during this surreal as fuck time. You'll hear a lot of them on this album. Basically, I have it broken down into one improv per day, in various configurations of people, all recorded on iPhone voice memos. Not meant to be polished at all, I hope this offers some insight into the day to day activities of a musician in intense inner reconfiguration.
